ZACK GOMEZ CORTEZ

March 23, 1958 – July 3, 2023

ELKHART- Zack Gomez Cortez, 65, of Elkhart, passed away Monday July 3, 2023, at his residence in Elkhart. He was born March 23, 1958, in El Cuental Madero Michoccan, Mexico to Salvador & Natvidad (Cortez) Gomez.

Surviving are 2 sons, Francisco Gomez, and George Gomez both of Ingleside, TX and 1 sister, Maria A. (Esteban) Mendez of Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Zack attended St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Elkhart and was military veteran in Mexico. He enjoyed horses and watching cowboy movies. Zack lived in Elkhart for the past 30 years and was a kind and gentle soul.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. Saturday July 8, 2023, at Waterman-Westbrook-Clouse Funeral Home. Funeral services for Zack will start at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Reverend Zane Langenbruner will render the service and cremation will follow.
