William Roy Nusbaum

ALABAMA-William Roy Nusbaum, 69, formerly of Elkhart, Indiana, Margate, Florida, and Columbus, Ohio passed away May 9, 2021 at his home in Tuscumbia, AL. He was born April 5, 1952 in Indiana to Manford & Evelyn (Fulmer) Nusbaum.
On November 2, 1974 in Elkhart, he married Christina (Adams) Nusbaum; she survives along with 2 daughters, Tammy Nusbaum of Tucson, AZ and Linda (Matt) Nusbaum-Lejzerowicz of Blacklick, Ohio. Also surviving are 2 siblings, Ruby Carpenter of Goshen, IN and Lester (Roxanne) Nusbaum of Murphy, NC.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 siblings, Sharon Vaughn, Donald Nusbaum, and Ronald Nusbaum.
William was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during Vietnam era, a semi-truck driver for Schneider National and Dist-Trans Trucking for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and working on cars in his spare time.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 14, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at Waterman Westbrook Clouse Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Dr. Alan Beaver will preside and burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
