Susie Berkey Obituary

ELKHART-Susie J. Berkey 81, passed away November 22, 2015 at her home in Elkhart. She was born May 25, 1934 in Manchester, TN to late John & Bessie (Jones) Whitman. She was preceded in death by her first husband Willard Swan, second husband Ora Berkey, 1 daughter Dorothy Loveless and 1 granddaughter Michelle Loveless. She was also preceded in death by 4 brothers William Whitman, John Whitman, Leon Whitman, and Willard Whitman.
Surviving is 1 brother Grady Kenneth (Carol) Whitman of Elkhart and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the 1:30 pm service Wednesday, November 25, 2015 Waterman Westbrook Clouse Funeral Home. Presiding will be Pastor Rick Pirtle from Riverview General Baptist Church and burial will be held at Prairie Street Cemetery.
She retired in 1998 after working 25 years at Kinder Manufacturing.
