ROSCOE RICHARD ANGLEMYER

October 25, 1941 – March 21, 2023

ELKHART- Roscoe R. Anglemyer, 81, of Elkhart, passed away Tuesday March 21, 2023 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana.  He was born October 25, 1941, in Bristol, Indiana to Roscoe & Rose Lucille (Wagner) Anglemyer.

     On November 24, 1979, he married Jacoline (Newell) Rogers.  She preceded him in death on August 15, 2014.  Surviving are 3 daughters, Julia (Timothy) Cramer, Marcia Anglemyer, Jacquelyn (Timothy) Jimerson all of Elkhart, Indiana; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mary Jean Howard of Elkhart, Indiana.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jacoline, 3 sisters, Dora Anglemyer, Nancy Anglemyer, Sally J. Riley, and a brother Russell Anglemyer.

     Roscoe graduated from Elkhart High School in 1961.  He enjoyed junking, playing the Hooiser Lottery, but most of all he liked meeting his friends twice a day at Callahan’s Restaurant for coffee and fellowship.   Roscoe was a retired truck driver.

     Visitation for family and friends will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday March 26,2023 and from Noon till the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Monday March 27, 2023 at Waterman-Westbrook-Clouse Funeral Home.  Pastor Bob Vale from the First United methodist Church in Middlebury will preside and burial will follow in Prairie Street Cemetery.

     Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
