Nayeli Guadalupe Navarro

  Nayeli Guadalupe Navarro, 21, of Elkhart, passed away in a fatal car accident on May 14, 2023.  She was born January 23, 2002 in Elkhart, Indiana to Ismael and Elsa (Garza) Navarro. 

  She is survived by her parents; two brothers Jonathan Navarro of Mishawaka, IN. and Ismael (Karina) Navarro of Monterrey, Mexico; grandmothers, Reinalda Garza of Monterrey, Mexico and Margarita Aquilar of Santa Clara, Mexico; two nephews, Ismael Navarro Jr. and Carlito Navarro both of Monterrey, Mexico and one niece Victoria Navarro of Monterrey, Mexico. 

  Nayeli graduated in 2020 from Elkhart Central High School.  She played in the band. She was going to school to become a nurse.  She worked at Bonnell Aluminum in Elkhart. 

  Visitation for Nayeli will be at the Waterman Westbrook Clouse Funeral Home, 1129 South Prairie Street, Elkhart, Indiana on Thursday May 18, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  Additional visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. till 11:30 a.m. on Friday May 19, 2023, in the Vincent Hall at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church.   The Mass of Christian Burial will start at 11:30 a.m. on Friday at the Church.  Rev. Craig Borchard, pastor will render the Mass and burial will follow at St. Vincent Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help with funeral expenses.  Waterman- Westbrook- Clouse Funeral Home has been entrusted with her care.
