MARIA  BARRIOS-HERNANDEZ

July 27, 1971 – January 11, 2025

ELKHART- Maria Barrois-Hernandez, 53, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away Saturday January 11, 2025, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.  She was born July 27, 1971, in Harlingen, Texas to Francisco R. & Maria (Loa) Hernandez.

     She married Miguel Angel Barrios Hernandez and he preceded her in death on October 23, 2024.  Surviving are 2 sons, Jorge (Karla) Fernandez , Marco Fernandez both of Elkhart, IN; 3 daughters, Josephine (Dilpreet) Singh of Battle Creek, MI, Maria Barrois, Senorine Singh both of Elkhart, IN; 15 grandchildren and 2 siblings, Gloria Hernandez of Elkhart, IN and Arnulfo Hernandez of Texas.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and 3 brothers, Francisco, Juan and Rodulfo Hernandez.

     Maria was formerly employed as a secretary and she enjoyed visiting the casinos, going to cookouts, spending time with her family and drinking her Pepsi.

     Memorial contributions may be given to the family.  Visitation for family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. till 5:00 p.m. Saturday January 18, 2025
