Margie F. Gallay, born November 19, 1932, in Warsaw, Indiana to Floyd and Ruth (Balsley) Middaugh died on November 17, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Dean Middaugh. Margie leaves behind two daughters, Vonette Sue (David) Bibbee and Beth (Rick) Rhude. Margie was raised in Nappanee, Indiana and graduated from Nappanee High School in 1950. She moved to Elkhart and retired from Tops Mobile Homes after 23 years. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church for 45 years while living in Elkhart. She then moved to South Bend for the last 11 years of her life and attended Hillside Missionary Church. Margie loved and cherished her family, especially her 30 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and baking for others as well as sending cards and letters of encouragement to friends and family near and far. 

 

Visitation for family and friends will be from 1:00 till 3:00 p.m. Saturday November 20, 2021, at the Waterman-Westbrook-Clouse Funeral Home, 1129 S. Prairie Street, Elkhart, IN. The service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Pastor Josh Fisher from the Hillside Missionary Church in South Bend and Pastor David Bibbee her son-in-law will preside. Cremation will follow the service.  Memorials in lieu of flowers can be made to Hillside Missionary Church, 21567 W. Ireland Road, South Bend, IN 46614.
