LINDA K. JORDAN

August 6, 1955 – November 11, 2023

ELKHART- Linda Kay Jordan, 68, of Elkhart, passed away Saturday November 11, 2023, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN. She was born August 6, 1955, in Elkhart, IN to Matthew & Lorraine (Smith) Jordan.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Kendrick D. (Kristen) Jordan, Sr. of Elkhart, IN; her daughter, LaTasha L. Jordan of Davenport, FL and her honorary daughter, Annette L. James of Elkhart, IN; three grandsons, Ashton (Gina) Jordan of Ft. Wayne, IN, Antwaan Allen of Elkhart, IN and Lance Corporal Kendrick D. Jordan, Jr. of Camp Pendleton, CA.; four granddaughters, Brionna Barnett of Grand Rapids, MI, Taja Jordan of Elkhart, IN, Grace Adkins of Nappanee, IN and Courtecy Applewhite of Davenport, FL; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Redd, Mrs. Doris Williams of Elkhart, IN and Mrs. Nancy Jackson of Indianapolis, IN; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Addie Jordan, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew and Lorraine Jordan, Sr.; three brothers, Leonard J. Smith, Matthew Jordan, Jr. and Donald M. Jordan Sr.; four sisters, Mrs. Patricia J. James, Mrs. Lillian R. Jackson, Mrs. Luvater Williams and Mrs. Darlene Taylor.

Linda was a 1974 graduate of Elkhart Memorial High School and a member of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully on the Kitchen Committee.  At the time of her death, she was employed at L.E. Johnson Products for 20 years as a Lead Operator.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Waterman Westbrook Clouse Funeral Home, 1129 S. Prairie Street, Elkhart, IN. Her home going service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, 12:00 p.m. at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, 802 W. Garfield Ave., Elkhart, IN. Pastor Danny T. Brown will preside, and burial will follow at Prairie Street Cemetery.  The repast will be held immediately following the burial at the Elkhart F.O.P. LODGE 52, 1003 Industrial Pkwy, Elkhart, IN 46516
