Lillian F Dygert

Lillian F. Dygert 92 passed away Friday, September 16, 2016 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born April 10, 1924 in Mishawaka to the late John H. & Gertrude (Kramer) Bixler.
On August 1, 1942 in Elkhart she married David Dygert; he preceded her in death on January 27, 2007. She was also preceded in death by 1 son Gregory, siblings Louis Bixler, Bill Barlow and Laura Barlow-Grace.
Surviving is 3 daughters Donna Dygert, Karen (Larry) Hershberger, Debbie Dygert all of Elkhart, grandchildren Scott Sanders of South Bend, Gregory (Charrisa) Young of Osceola, Michael (Amy) Hershberger of Ellenton, FL., Sarah Waggoner of Indianapolis and Carla (Scott) Freel of Elkhart. Also surviving are great-grandchildren Payton Young, Zoey Sanders, Cody Sanders, Ell Waggoner and Abe Freel.
Lillian worked at Miles/Bayer for many 27 years as a lab technician until her retirement in 1984. She was also a member of First Baptist Church in Bristol.
Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the 1 p.m. funeral service Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Waterman Westbrook Clouse Funeral Home.
