Lilia Aguilar Morales

ELKHART- Lilia Aguilar Morales, 48, of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday July 13, 2016 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born May 12, 1968 in Mexico to Jesus Aguilar and MaRemedios Morales Sanchez.
On August 13, 1986 she married Higinio Juarez Zarela. He survives along with three children, Neri Juarez, Thalia Juarez, Jossimary Juarez; a son-in-law, Israel DeLeon; five grandchildren, Jimena Cortez, Luis Cortez, Jair Cortez, Anthony Cortez, Joana Cortez; her mother, MaRemedios Morales Sanchez; three sisters and 2 brothers. She was preceded in death by her father.
Lilia was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church. She sang in the church choir and taught Sunday school. Lilia enjoyed singing and sewing.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday and from 10-11 a.m. Monday in the Vincent Hall at the church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday July18, 2016 at the church. Fr. Matthew Coonan will preside and cremation will follow.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family. Waterman-Westbrook-Clouse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
