GOSHEN-Leora I. Jenks, 87, passed away April 17, 2018 at Greencroft Healthcare in Goshen. She was born December 18, 1930 in Elkhart, IN to David & Elsie (Smith) Hostetler.

On December 18, 1965 in Elkhart she married Albert Jenks; he preceded her in death on August 27, 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents; David and Elsie (Smith) Hostetler, 3 sons, 1 great, and 1 great, great grandchild Also, preceding her are 7 sisters, and 1 brother.

Surviving Leora are three (3) sons; Theodore (Carman) DeAubrey, San Antonio TX., James A. (Amy) Jenks, Goshen, IN., Randall Brubacher, Daytona, FL. Three (3) daughters; Connie (Roger) Chrispyn, Goshen IN., Sharon (Larry) Brown, Elkhart, IN., Carolyn Shetler, Goshen, IN. 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 4 great, great children.

Leora retired from Bayer (formerly Miles Laboratories) where she worked from 1987 to 1998. She also worked at Industrial Lamp from 1949-1971, and also Instamatic from 1976-1979.

Leora was a member of UAW and USW, and Faith United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be Friday, April 20, 2018 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm and 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Greencroft Health Campus and or Center for Hospice.
