JUAN MARTIN PONCE-MARTINEZ

April 18, 1966 – May 26, 2021

ELKHART- Juan Martin Ponce-Martinez, 55, of Elkhart, died Wednesday May 26, 2021 at his residence in Elkhart.  He was born April 18, 1966 in Aguascalientes, Mexico to J. Refujio Ponce Esparza and Eulalia Martinez Hernandez.

     He married Olga Guzman Rodriguez on January 13, 1996 in Mexico.  She survives along with 4 children Juan Martin Ponce, Jr., Jasmin (Jeorge Alvarez) Ponce, Melissa Ponce, and Cynthia Ponce all of Elkhart; 3 grandchildren Jordi Alvarez, Jayli Alvarez, Aria Ponce; his father, J. Refujio Ponce Esparza of Mexico; 2 siblings Miguel (Irma) Ponce-Martinez and Veronica (Mileton) Isleno-Ponce both of Elkhart.  He is also survived by a sister and 4 brothers.

     Juan was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church.  He was a hard worker who liked going to the Gym, being a great grandpa and helping other people out.  H also was a loving father to his children.

     The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Noon on Friday June 4, 2021 at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church.  Friends may visit with the family for 2 hours prior to the Mass in the Vincent Hall at the church.

     Waterman-Westbrook-Clouse Funeral Home is entrusted with his care.  Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
