Jessie Jackson, JR.

ELKHART- Jessie Jackson, Jr., 46, of Elkhart, passed away on Monday May 8, 2017 at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka. He was born April 4, 1971 in Elkhart to Jessie & Sarah (Carr) Jackson.

Surviving is his mother, Sarah Jackson; three sisters, Dorothy Jackson, Marjory Jackson, Denise Jackson and a brother, Lawrence Jackson all of Elkhart. He was preceded in death by his father, Jessie Jackson, Sr., and a brother, Dennis Jackson.

Jessie enjoyed watching TV, sports, reading, walking and listening to music. Jessie was employed at CVS.

Funeral services for Jessie will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the Community Missionary Baptist Church at 12 noon, with visitation an hour prior . Pastor Lefate Owens will preside and burial will follow at Prairie Street Cemetery. Waterman-Westbrook-Clouse Funeral Home is entrusted with his arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be given to Crone’s Disease.
