JEAN ANN STORMS
December 31, 1933 - January 19, 2016

ELKHART- Jean Ann Storms, 82, of Elkhart, passed away at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday January 19, 2016 at the Elkhart Hospice House. She was born December 31, 1933 in St. Joseph County, Michigan to the late Paul M. & Esther E. (Yunker) Storms.
Surviving are two sisters, Ruth Jones of Ontario, CA, Karen (Terry) Clouse of Elkhart, IN and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sister, Maryellen Mollsen.
Jean Ann graduated in 1951 from Sturgis High School. She was a graduate of Moody Bible Institute; she received her Bachelor's Degree from Eastern Michigan University and her Master's Degree from Indiana University. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bristol, IN and was active in the Ladies Missionary Fellowship at the church. Jean Ann was an elementary school teacher for 29 years, teaching in schools in California and Indiana.
For a number of years Jean Ann taught at the former Elkhart Baptist Christian School which is now the Elkhart Christian Academy. After retiring from teaching she worked as a secretary for Westbrook Metz and Clouse Funeral Home in Elkhart.
Funeral services will be held at Noon Saturday January 23, 2016 at the
Waterman-Westbrook-Clouse Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the funeral. Pastor John Blodgett from the First Baptist Church will preside. A private family burial will take place on Monday at Oaklawn Cemetery in Sturgis.

The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the funeral.
