Jane A. Plummer

Goshen- Jane A. Plummer, 89, passed away at Greenleaf Health Campus on October 15, 2024.  Jane was born in Elkhart, Indiana to Lindsey and Edna Whitt on January 9, 1935.

Jane married John Plummer on June 13, 1954. He preceded her in death on August 6, 2009.

Jane is survived by 2 daughters, Jody (Howard) Herald of Elkhart, IN and Julie Seretti, of Pittsburg, PA as well as 3 sons, John (Julie) Plummer of Elkhart, IN, Jeff Plummer of Goshen, IN , and Jay (Carolyn) Plummer of Pittsburg, PA.  1 sister, Linda Weldy of Laporte, IN, 1 brother, Jim (Deb) Dunmier of Union, MI, 6 grandchildren, Jason, Stephanie, Michael, Joe, Haley, and Ashley, 3 great grandchildren, Lucy, Stella, and Kinley. 

  Along with her husband John, Jane was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters Nancy O’Connor and Mary Lawrence, as well as a grandson, Scott Plummer.

Jane worked for C.T.S before she married John and afterwards, she was a homemaker. She belongs to the twin club and was a former member of First United Methodist Church. She loved to watch tennis; she journaled every day and loved making up photo albums. Memorials can be given to the Esther House of Elkhart.  There will be a private memorial service at a later date.  Waterman-Westbrook-Clouse Funeral Home is entrusted with her care.
