JACK LYAL YOUNGBLOOD

LEESBURG, INDIANA- Jack Lyal Youngblood, 89, of Leesburg, Indiana, passed away Sunday January 26, 2020 at his residence. He was born May 5, 1930 in Elkhart, Indiana to Lyal & Ruth Anna (Earnhart) Youngblood.

On May 12, 1950 in Elkhart he married Jean Doering. She preceded him in death on October 23, 2015. Surviving are 3 children ,Karen McCall of Goldsboro, NC, Steven (Susanne) Youngblood of Elkhart and David (Kim) Youngblood of Greenfield, IN; 7 grandchildren, Anna (Paul) Evans of Lawrenceville, GA, Matthew (Jennifer) McCall of Indianapolis, IN, Joshua (Dawn) McCall of Augusta, GA, Carrie (Lance) Sutton of Four Oaks, NC, Sarah (Ernest) Fulford of Monticello, FL, Andrew (Beth) Youngblood of Knoxville, TN and Samantha Youngblood of Greenfield, IN. Additional survivors include 10 great-grandchildren, Hannah Evans, Alexis McCall, Matthew Thomas McCall, Titus McCall, Layla McCall, Olivia Sutton, Naomi Sutton, Megan & Noah Fulford, Micaela Dietz. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, June Miller.

Jack was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Elkhart. He worked as an engineer for L & J Press and was the owner of Paragon Photography.

Cremation will take place and a celebration of life gathering will be from 2-5 p.m. Friday January 31, 2020 at his home, 316 EMS B 38 Lane, Leesburg, IN.
