Jack Barben Obituary

BRISTOL – Jack Gilbert Barben, 84, of Bristol, Indiana has taken his journey to live forever with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His heart finally failed after having undergone many stresses during his lifetime.

Jack is survived by his four children, Eileen (Jerry) Azia, Patricia (Bill) Kapr, Jack (Juanita) Barben Jr., and Laurie (Joey) Bonta. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Etta Barben, his Mother and Father, his younger brother Eugene (Buddy), and his second daughter, Linda Mae, who died shortly after she was born.

Visitation is from 2-3pm on Saturday, March 12, 2017 at McCoy Memorial Baptist Church, 134 St. Clair Ave., Elkhart, IN 46516. A memorial home going celebration follows along with the burial afterward. Waterman-Westbrook-Clouse funeral home is entrusted with his arrangements.

Flowers may be sent to McCoy Memorial Baptist Church (address above). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Operation Mobilization, a world wide ministry that Jack supported throughout his lifetime. We will miss our dear Dad very much yet take comfort in knowing he is having the time of his life.

In tribute to our Father:

The Lord is his shepherd. He no longer wants. He is resting now in the greenest of pastures. He shares garden time with Jesus beside still waters. His cup runs over. And, best of all, he feasts at the ultimate banquet table in the House of his Lord, forevermore.
