EVELYN L. LEE
September 11, 1921 - February 4, 2016

ELKHART- Evelyn L. Lee, 94, of Elkhart, passed away on Thursday February 4, 2016 at the Elkhart Hospice House. She was born September 11, 1921 in Cass County Michigan to the late Frank & Zola (Owen) Crouse.
She married Gordon Lee, Sr. in 1945. He preceded her in death in 2006. Surviving are three children, Gordon Lee, John Lee, Joyce Lee all of Elkhart; four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Pearl Rodgers of Goshen and Mary Weldy of Elkhart. Preceding her in death were two brothers, Harold & John Crouse and a sister, Frances Duncan.
Evelyn enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading and doing puzzles. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She retired from CTS in 1986 where she worked for many years.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday February 8, 2016 at Waterman-Westbrook-Clouse Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the service. Rev. Thomas Wright will preside and entombment will follow in Rice Cemetery.
