Edgar Velazquez

ELKHART- Edgar Velazquez, 31, of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday August 22, 2018 at his home. He was born January 23, 1987 in Durango, Mexico to Pedro Velazquez and Rosa Salas.

Surviving is his father Pedro Velazquez of Mexico; his mother Rosa Ortega of Elkhart; 2 children, Michael and Angel; 1 brother, Hugo Velazquez of Oklahoma City, OK and 2 sisters, Rosa Velazquez and Benda Velazquez both of Elkhart.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Additional visitation will be from 10-Noon Tuesday in the Vincent Hall at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Noon Tuesday August 28, 2018 at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church. Fr. Matthew Coonan will preside and burial will follow in St. Vincent Cemetery.
