Leesburg- Doris "Jean" Youngblood 84, formally of Elkhart, passed away October 23, 2015 at her home. She was born March 24, 1931 in Bremen, IN to Remus & Mabel (Felton) Doering.
On May 12, 1950 she married Jack L. Youngblood; he survives along with 3 children Karen McCall of Goldsboro, NC, Steven (Suzanne) Youngblood of Elkhart and David (Kim) Youngblood of Greenfield, IN. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 siblings Joyce (David) Kruse of Sun City, AZ, Jack (Sally) Doering of Mishawaka, and a sister-in-law Samantha Doering of Clairton, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother Wayne Doering.
Jean was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bristol and a former member of the Join Heirs Sunday School Class.
Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the 2:00 p.m. funeral service Thursday, October 29, 2015 at North Webster Church of the Brethren, 7281 East 600 North, North Webster, IN. Rev. Gary Colby will preside.
