DENNIS ARLEN CARTE

November 30, 1956 – October 26, 2024

ELKHART- Dennis A. Carte, 67, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away Saturday October 26, 2024, at Woodland Manor in Elkhart. He was born November 30, 1956, in East Bank, WV to Eugene Stanton & Drexal (Foster) Carte.

Surviving are 3 children, William Baker of SC, Scott Carte of Thailand, Rachael Philyaw of NC; 1 brother, Dave Carte of Cassopolis, MI; a niece, Lisa Carte Kime of Elkhart, IN; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother and 1 sister.

Dennis painted cars and was a musician, having played with the bands We 3, Unfinished Business and Easy Street. Dennis enjoyed watching NASCAR, playing his guitar and singing at family gatherings.

There will be no visitation or services, and cremation will take place. Waterman-Westbrook-Clouse Funeral Home is entrusted with his care.
