DEBRA ANN DYGERT

October 26, 1954 – June 18, 2024

ELKHART- Debra Ann Dygert, 69, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away Tuesday June 18, 2024, at Elkhart General Hospital.  She was born October 26, 1954, in Elkhart, Indiana to David L. & Lillian (Bixler) Dygert.

     Surviving is a son, Scott David Sanders, 2 grandchildren, Cody Sanders & Zoey Sanders all of South Bend, IN and 2 sisters, Donna K. Dygert and Karen S. (Larry) Hershberger both of Elkhart, Indiana.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gregory Dygert.

     Debra was employed at NIBCO in Elkhart for 26 years.  She enjoyed collecting rocks and loved baking, especially chocolate chip cookies.

     Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. Tuesday June 25, 2024, at the Waterman-Westbrook-Clouse Funeral Home, 1129 S. Prairie Street, Elkhart, IN 46516.  Pastor John Blodgett will render the service that will start at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  Entombment will follow at Rice Cemetery.
