September 22, 1947 - November 4, 2015

ELKHART- Charlene Ann Johnson, 68, of Elkhart, passed away at 1:57 p.m. Wednesday November 4, 2015 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born September 22, 1947 in Elkhart to the late Kirby & Barbara (Rex) Rife.
Surviving are two children, Mark (Maritza) Culler, Tonya (Mathew) Nicoson both of Elkhart; four grandchildren, Emma Nicoson, Trent Culler, Tate Nicoson and William Nicoson. Also surviving is a brother, Rex (Nola) Rife and a sister, Cathy (Dana) Sailor both of Elkhart.
Charlene graduated from Concord High School in 1966. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She worked in the payroll department at Elkhart General Hospital.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 and 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Waterman-Westbrook-Clouse Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. Monday (November 9, 2015) funeral service at Faith United Methodist Church. Pastor John Hogsett will preside and burial will follow in Prairie Street Cemetery.
