Beverly C. Perry

GOSHEN-Beverly C. Perry 84, passed away November 22, 2016 at Greencroft Healthcare in Goshen. She was born December 9, 1931 in Middlesboro, KY to Roscoe L & Floy (Thurman) Collingsworth.
On July 26, 1952 in Middlesboro, KY she married James R. Perry; he survives along with 3 children Reed (Janice) Perry of Seymour, TN, Sue (Glenn) Huber of Elkhart, Kathy (John) Creekmore of Goshen and 1 brother Carroll Collingsworth of Miami, OK. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Ryland Collingsworth.
Beverly received Bachelors in Elementary Education form Georgetown College in Georgetown, KY and a Masters in Elementary Education from Indiana University and with that education she worked at Concord Westside Elementary until retiring in 1987.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Christian Lights Sunday School Class and in her spare time she enjoyed knitting, sewing and spending time with her family. Beverly trusted Christ as her Savior at the age of nine and lived her life and loved her husband and family in a way that honored that commitment.
Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, November 26, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Bristol, IN. Pastors Phil Byars and John Blodgett will preside and burial will follow in Prairie Street Cemetery.
